Christopher DeGiorgio, M.D.
Christopher DeGiorgio is a Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology, where he has served as the Vice-Chairman of the Department. Christopher specializes in seizure disorders and conceived Trigeminal Nerve Stimulation (TNS) as a therapy for epilepsy and has collaborated with Ian Cook developing it as a treatment for depression and PTSD. He has been the Principal Investigator of several interventional clinical trials including Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) for epilepsy and n-3 fatty acids as a treatment for epilepsy and focusing on the reduction of sudden death (SUDEP).
Christopher received a BS in Biology at Loyola Marymount University and an MD from Loyola University Chicago School of Medicine.
